I have been using PowerShell daily for a while now, and here are the basic configurations for a fresh Win 10 build.
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUserScoop is a wonderful way to manage all of your local software.

iex "& { $(irm https://aka.ms/install-powershell.ps1) } -UseMSI -Preview"Everything before this was done in Windows PowerShell, but now to switch to Core and use a different GUI. I have been using the Windows Terminal Preview, and enjoy it so far. I used to use cmder, but consider this prettier and simpler.
And then you need to set up a profile to do all the cool things you want to do.
New-Item -path $profile -type file –forceI used to use posh-git and oh-my-posh, but this replaces it all.
