As the title says, we have a hotkey conflict in edit mode with hotkey w for move. W is used for Vertex slide too.

The problem here is that you tap twice to enter vertex slide. So when you hold down the key you will flicker between vertex slide and move. We need to make it either mouse down or mouse release. Holding the mouse should not jump between the two modes.

Have reported this one to Blender too. Let's first wait what they say

The bug report gots declined. And so we will keep this unfixed too. At least for now. A bug fix would introduce too many differences in the behaviour between Blender and Bforartists.

Brecht mentioned to have deeper changes at the keymap for 2.8. Let's see with what they come up there.
