1. I compiled chan_dongle based on the makefile present in contrib directory
2. Then I installed asterisk and chan_dongle
3. From the console I tried to load the module

It shows:
Command 'module load chan_dongle' failed.
[Oct 22 09:06:55] WARNING[1829]: loader.c:768 inspect_module: Module
'chan_dongle.so' was not compiled with the same compile-time options as this
version of Asterisk.
[Oct 22 09:06:55] WARNING[1829]: loader.c:769 inspect_module: Module
'chan_dongle.so' will not be initialized as it may cause instability.
[Oct 22 09:06:55] WARNING[1829]: loader.c:852 load_resource: Module
'chan_dongle' could not be loaded.

I'm using chan_dongle 1.0r10 with openwrt trunk on a routerstation pro with
huawei k3765

Can you help me?

Any update on this bug? Cristian, can you please provide more details on how
you have managed to compile chan_dongle?

Yes, I solved that. I just compiled asterisk with my pc; previously I used
asterisk from openwrt repositories. After that asterisk_chan_dongle is working
fine.
Regards

I am unable to compile chan_dongle. Are there any pre-built packages for it? I
am after ar71xx. Thank you!

I'm actually using a mipsle router with backfire and chan-dongle compiles
fine... maybe it's a problem with your build environment
