Finally, I figured out how to get around about this issue:
The option |
I had the the same problem and while your solution fixes it, you lose the ability to navigate trhough gallery.
This is the complete code of an older version in which it works without problems. Check it out and maybie it could help to fix the bug in the current version. |
@gabrielroman13 That's correct. Fortunately, for the feature I needed it, I didn't use the gallery functionality, but yeah, it is a problem if you need it. I will check out the code that you shared. Thanks mate! |
Hi guys, i will take a look at this as soon as posible, the releases page has all the previous versions if you need it. |
do you know which version is it exactly ? |
Sadly not, I found only the minified production file not the hole master. |
This should be fixed in the latest version 3.0.6 |
Awesome @biati-digital |
There seems to still some issues here, which are also present on the glightbox website. I am testing on a Pixel 4A / 11.0 using Chrome 86 with a vimeo video. I have not experienced issues with iOS, but I have not thoroughly tested that. Config: const lightbox = GLightbox({
touchNavigation: true,
autoplayVideos: false
}); Results: Can not interact with the Config: (changed autoplay to true) const lightbox = GLightbox({
touchNavigation: true,
autoplayVideos: **true**
}); Results: Video plays, but still can not interact with the Config: (changed touchNavigation to false) const lightbox = GLightbox({
touchNavigation: **false**,
autoplayVideos: false
}); Results: I can interact with the buttons, but again, after playback has begun, touching anywhere opens the video in "fullscreen" and exposes the vimeo controls (see image). If I use the code that @gabrielroman13 pasted, I do not have the "touch issues" I am experiencing here - I think he pasted It seems the new update introduces a new issue, in the way of "automatic fullscreen weirdness", so reverting to a previous version is likely needed, even if one can live without touchNavigation. Unless there is some config setting I am missing to stop showing the vimeo player and entering fullscreen. As far as mobile navigation goes, I reckon users might be able to create mobile only buttons for navigating through a gallery ( |
Hi @quoid This new version uses Plyr "Native fullscreen" but it's supposed to be on iOS as the config name is "iosNative", please try to configure Plyr with the following options.
Let me know if it changes something. |
Thank you, that resolves the "fullscreen issue". It no longer exposes vimeo controls when I play a video and then touch the screen. However, there are still the problems @rodsotdia mentioned above with Android Chrome. when As a workaround, I downgraded to a previous version, set I have not personally experienced this issue with iOS devices, just Android Chrome. |
I can reproduce the same issue @quoid describes on the Pixel 4a using Chrome. |
@philvdb Thank you bringing this to our attention 😊 If you don't mind, can you file a new issue? This sounds like it could be a different issue from the initial and currently closed one. |
@Frankie-tech thanks for your quick reply. I understand that a new issue might be in order. I'm afraid I couldn't do the testing required to debug the issue right now though - I'd have to connect my cell phone to my dev environment to properly test it. I just figured I'd chime in here because I found the same issue @quoid did, but I had to fix it quickly by disabling |
The video lightbox works fine on desktop, but on mobile doesn't autoplay (the lightbox is open, but the video doesn't reproduce), also, if you try to tap the play icons the video doesn't play.
The bug is also present on the demo page: https://biati-digital.github.io/glightbox/ I can't reproduce the videos on mobile.
I tested on an Android device.
A video that shows the bug: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mc7se1bmi1c8y0l/Screen_Recording_20201001-141528.mp4
I can move the controls of timeline and volume, but the other buttons don't' work (play, fullscreen, etc.)
