'git' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

while using this code

<< git clone https://github.com/bigcommerce/cornerstone.git>>

hi @FatmaOthman , have you installed git on your PC before cloning repo?

did you try in your git CLI?
$ git clone https://github.com/bigcommerce/cornerstone.git

And also agreeing with BC-krasnoshapka do you have Git installed on your PC?
