Final soldering for the gateway #8

Soldering:

  • 2x rows of 15pin female header (for the ethernet module)
  • 2x rows of 4pin female header (for RF module)
  • ceramic capacitor (for RF module)
  • 7x color cables between ETH module and RF module

Notes:

  • Arduino Nano has 6 pins that stick upwards. Once the ETH module is connected to the female headers
    on the PCB, there must be enough space maintained between PCB and the top cover.
    40mm M3 spacers should be enough.

The wiring schema is depicted here (bottom view):

There is one capacitor between GND and VCC pins of the NRF24L01+ module. Different sources suggested different capacitance ranging from 0.1uF to 220uF. For the gateway, this is not as important as for the sensor.
