Anime shows most of the time have the same track number and name being the English/Japanese or whatever language throughout the show, while the naming of the tracks is all over the place between different shows. The same is true for the subtitle track.

Normally one would select in kodi to always play the Japanese language track, with the English subtitles for example. But as the naming conventions differ between releases, this most of the time doesn't work.

It would be cool if nakamori could remember the selection the user makes for the first episode and reapply it to the following episodes of the same show automatically.

So if I select the Japanese track 2 with the Full subtiles track 2 for the first episode, while the default for the show is the English track 1 and the Sings/Songs subtitle track 1, it would automatically use this setting for the other episodes without having to manually apply it again and again for every episode when first watching a show.

Depends, if Kodi should stick with "name" of track or index of track. to be honest I experience this issue, but that could be a good live improvement.
Let me add flags for this.

@bigretromike
Thank you very much for adding the flags and considering to add this feature in the future.

For reference there is a project, which does this for the kodi library view here and my modification to make in work in the kodi file view here. Though I have yet to incorporate the latest changes of the original into my modified version.

Maybe I can supply a pull request for nakamori in the future. But my time is rather limited at the moment, so I can't guarantee I'll come around to do it.

@SlrG thank you for pointing to that service - when I some spare time i will look into this, or just implement something similar on nakamori end so it wont conflict with "modded" service
