Unable to see the attached volume in instance - systools not installed #57

When you are attaching a device to an instance as block storage, the attach works fine, but if you login to the launched instance, you don't see the new storage. There are two factors that influences this behavior:

  1. Image - Few images does not support, hot add of the block device. One has to load ‘acpiphp’ module to support this. However, most of the images available has this loaded.
  2. Missing package - this wiki has missing instructions on one of the packages that does this job. Every compute node requires this package
    apt-get install sysfsutil

Can we get the wiki updated with point 2 package name?
