Cygwin Python tries to use SSH control master

Source: JIRA REPO-29
Affected Version: 1.6.7.2
Environment: Cygwin/Vista

Ynder Cygwin/Vista is that I get this error:

$ repo sync
mm_receive_fd: no message header
muxserver_accept_control: failed to receive fd 0 from slave
ssh_msg_recv: read: header
muxclient: msg_recv
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
error: Cannot fetch manifests

Setting GIT_SSH=ssh works around.
