Prefix

mir

Explanation

Should "mir" (aka: "MIR") be merged with "pdb"?

The bioregistry.io link: https://bioregistry.io/mir:00100037 on this page: https://bioregistry.io/registry/mir does not resolve.
The identifiers.org link: https://identifiers.org/MIR:00100037 on this page: https://bioregistry.io/registry/mir resolves to PDB: https://registry.identifiers.org/registry/pdb, which calls this namespace/prefix pattern a "legacy" identifier pattern for pdb identifiers.

Hi @sierra-moxon, this is a bit of a special situation. The mir prefix corresponds to identifiers.org itself as a resource. For example, within the mir namespace, the identifier 00100037 corresponds to PDB, whereas e.g., 00000080 corresponds to HGNC. It looks like the resolver URL for mir (i.e., identifiers.org) is not correct, I will look into fixing it.
