Currently, we just use "help@mygene.info" for user inquiries, and we probably should setup a better way (public, and searchable). Options:

  • google group
  • biostars.org special channel or tag?
  • free or commercial knowledgebase

Related to this. We should also set up a newsletter style mailing list.

"biothings" Google group has been setup now: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/biothings or biothings@googlegroups.com email. Users should use it for asking help in general.

Done. See http://mygene.info/#need-help. Also applied to other BioThings APIs (MyVariant.info and MyChem.info, etc).
