I have no intention of stopping work. Between holidays and other work, December was a busy month. I will be picking up translation in January. I didn't think it would be wise to leave this outstanding amount hanging, however. If this is discouraged, I will refrain from doing so in future.

Should this situation arise in future, would it be best to carry the uncomp'd amount over to a future month?

I think it's best to require compensations as soon as possible. If you're not going to ask for compensation because i.e. it's a very low amount, it makes sense to make a report here and not submitting the compensation request to DAO.
