Run your BitcoinZ seeder and post your DNS here.
We need a lot of seed nodes to be fully decentralized!

Seed nodes will be added to BitcoinZ source code.

The requirement is to have bitcoinz full node running & seeder at the same machine.
Test your seeder from other machine. It should get the same output as test to current seeders:
Full node test (open 1989 port TCP):

telnet dnsseed.kemperink.org 1989

and
Seeder test (Open port 53 UDP) - should return list of IPs:

nslookup seed.btcz.life

Hello,
Just started a seed on 89.33.25.184.
Could someone please tell me how can i check that everything is ok ?

got output: [17-11-16 14:05:18] 54/22921 available (22029 tried in 999s, 13 new, 879 active), 0 banned; 0 DNS requests, 0 db queries

Please confirm it's ok.

@faneaatiku
Well when i try telnet 89.33.25.184. 1989 it shows "telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused" meaning its not ok.... check your firewall settings.. if everything is ok, you should be able to "connect to remote host"....

Please help! OK, I followed the instructions after building dnseed but I dont understand which addresses I have to use in the command line, AND , where doe the list output appear?
I have a hot wallet running on my local Linux 17.10 and I'm trying to sync up ( it has worked many times before but today it cant get any connections). So I'm trying the seeder.

Is the -h host your own machine ip? what NS do I use? Why does it insist on wanting a mail address (-m) and whose address do I use? Where does the list of seeds appear?

Signed , real confused... (and I'm a scientist , so this is frustrating for me)
Thanks in advance for any kind of decent tutorial.

@kovacbb No, need to add a DNS record for type 'NS' for btcz.kovach.biz.

This should return many ips:
nslookup btcz.kovach.biz

We have actually only 3 seeder:

vSeeds.push_back(CDNSSeedData("5051c0f9dfb6e29421647ea34bc3c693c2ba2222af3a867519e4cdd6f1b86c2b.BTCZ", "btzseed2.blockhub.info"));

Run your BitcoinZ seeder and post your DNS here.
