WHOUPS! If you tried to use OSC in the first release of v1.1.0, it refused to load the module, and if you tried to delete an osc instance, the application would throw an error. This problem is fixed in this build, please upgrade 👍

  • Added temporary hacks for eventmaster exceptions. Make sure the E2/S3 actually exists and is pingable before trying to throw commands at it. This will be fixed in a better way later.

EVENTMASTER SIMULATOR STILL WONT WORK FOR THIS :)

Please read release notes for v1.0.5 and v1.0.4 as well!

Event Companion v1.0.5-alpha-osx

Pre-release

PLEASE read the release notes for v1.0.4 before downloading this release. This is still highly experimental and under heavy development.

Changelog 1.0.4 -> 1.0.5:

  • Added experimental support for actions
  • Added experimental support for eventmaster: autotrans, cut and preset recall to pgm and pvw

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH EVENTMASTER SIMULATOR! It does not provide the JSON-API like the real deal does. XML support will be implemented in the future.

Something we've found out now, is that the application will start to throw errors when you change the E2/S3 IP after adding the EventMaster Instance. OK out those, and try to type in the correct IP in the config, and restart the app! I'm on it for 1.0.6 :) (coming out tonight probably)

Pre-release

This versions is for beta testers!

Before starting application:

  • Make sure the original elgato streamdeck app is closed/not running.
  • Make sure your streamdeck is connected

Test tasks:

  • Does the application start without any hickups?
  • Network interfaces - discovered correctly in the dropdown?
  • Elgato draws page up/down/page number
  • GUI - WebUI: Can you add, rename and remove instances?
  • GUI - WebUI: Does the elgato emulator work? (try page up/down)
  • GUI - WebUI: Can you edit a button?
  • GUI - WebUI: When editing a button, can you change button style?
  • GUI - WebUI: Does both button styles work? (small and large font styles)
  • GUI - WebUI: Can you change colors on the buttons?

Note:

  • Actions is not ready for testing yet. The instances will in the future expose "actions" that you can stack onto buttons. Usecase: Make one button trig QLab GO and EventMaster preset 1.1 at the same time for example.

OSX Should work.
Windows is totally untested and will probably not work at all. Who knows?

Cheers!
