I have checked for a similar enhancement and didn't see it previously requested in the search results.
This would simulate real mixing consoles and allow you to quickly bypass single channels either when fine tuning and comparing settings for presets or when they are not needed for certain tracks or apps w/out losing the slider position. The “off” setting is equivalent to a 0.0 dB channel setting.
This will be part of Expert EQ that's coming in the next couple of weeks, not sure when this will be added to Advanced EQ but I agree it's a useful feature :)
I'm doing some cleanup of the issues.
This has probably been fixed long time ago, I encourage people to try v1.7 by download it from the website: https://eqmac.app

See “On” button above each channel slider for reference:
