  • I have checked for a similar issue and sure it hasn't been reported before.

Describe the bug
eqMac was working normally, then audio started breaking up excessively. eqMac was non-responsive with beachball.

Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour (feel free to change the placeholder as you need):

  1. Intermittent/random

Expected behaviour
Clear and concise audio

Setup information:

  • AirPods Max
  • Audio transmission interface: bluetooth
  • macOS Version: 14.4.1
  • eqMac Version [e.g. 0.0.1] (if audio related issue)
  • eqMac UI Version [e.g. 0.0.4] (if UI related issue)

Additional information
It is now happening fairly regularly with any audio. When I watch the eqMac process it stays around 1% until I play audio, then immediately jumps to 60%. I will try to reinstall.

I reinstalled eqMac. Now, when first run, the %CPU jumps to 30% and mostly stays there, even with no audio playing. When audio is played it jumps to 60% CPU and audio is very broken. I'll uninstall for now.

Is someone working on such problems? It's very annoying when you pay for a product that doesn't work well.
