Custom fields not translated

Hi,

I noticed that the custom field titles are not translated (in my case into German) in the filter dropdown. My users preferred language is German and everything else is translated (filter buttons, standard fields). Also, the custom field names appear translated in the standard Craft sort dropdown. The field names are translated in the 'site' namespace.

I also checked $event->fields in FieldsController::actionIndex and it contains data with the translated names.
