Vault never locks on Chrome #8465
Comments
Hi there, I am unable to reproduce this issue, it has been escalated for further investigation. If you have more information that can help us, please add it below. Thanks! |
This is a corporate laptop. I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm assuming the specified timeout is some sort of inactivity timer. If that's the case, how do you determine "inactivity"? There might be some software installed that makes the plugin think that there's activity when there really isn't. Also, is there a way to install an instrumented version of the plugin that describes the activity that's resetting the timer? Another thing: I pop out the plugin from the main browser and it shows up as its own icon on the menu bar (i.e. a Bitwarden icon instead of a Chrome icon). Could this affect it? |
Yes, when the browser extension is "popped out", it is considered active. Close the pop-out, and the timeout should work as expected. |
@bwbug, the issue doesn't happen if the popped out window is closed. I
