Your install must have gotten corrupted, possibly while doing an upgrade. Try uninstalling all versions of Tiled on your system and then re-installing the latest version. It no longer has a |
but I'm showing it to you in the application directory, how do you say it's not there anymore? |
I can see it's there, but like I said it's not supposed to be there. The only explanation I have for this is that something went wrong with either the upgrade or the deinstallation, because this file is not installed by the latest version of Tiled. |

This issue can't happen with the latest version since it does not ship with nor depends on a Edit: From your screenshot it is also clear that your files are a mix of two versions. Some files are from 2018 and some are from 2016, even though they should be from the same date (like |
