The only (?) reason the script only works on Ubuntu 12.04 is because the official Varnish repo only supports LTS versions. We can use a PPA (src in comment in code already) if on a non-LTS.

Might be more complicated than just replacing the Varnish repo. I.e python-software-properties is replaced by the package software-properties-common in 13.10. Probably many more issues.
