Write Unit Tests

It is hard to contribute patches, new features, etc, without a test suite to catch regressions.

OK... I have been thinking about this a lot, and it's been bugging me. How do we write proper test cases on something so visual. We can cover base functionality with test cases, but i'd love to hear about ideas for the rest... Maybe a before/after on some CSS values driven by animation? Is that sufficient?
