No camera or frigate entities created by the Frigate NVR Proxy addon - so no cameras, etc

I've installed a working Frigate installation on a separate machine with a Coral TPU, but the installation of the Frigate NVR Proxy addon creates no entities at all. How to solve this?

My setup has 6 cameras, each has a Frigate rtmp feed verified by using vlc.

Entities

• there are no camera entities
• the frigate system entities are created by the addon
• the switches are created by me to control recording state

Addons dont create any entities, they just run applications as docker containers. The integration creates entities: https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frigate-hass-integration
