[Config Support]: Onvif PTZ controls not showing

Hallo; I use 2 IPCam camera's with frigate.yaml as attached. Both work via rtsp and ODM reports 835 port for Onvif. I cannot get PTZ controls to show up and work for birdseye.

looks like the cameras are sending onvif information that does not match the onvif spec. You can try enabling debug logs for onvif so we can see what the camera is reporting

This is the Frigate log as you advised.
Unfortunately it doesn't helped me further yet.
I am not a complete nobo in this matters but Frigate and Onvif i.c.w. Chinese camera's keeps me busy.
When I change the Onvif url including the port and /onvif/device_service frigate doesn't start at all.
I hope that you reckognise the badly needed clou.

It looks like your cheap Chinese camera does not implement the ONVIF standard correctly.

Your camera is reporting a Service Not Supported error when Frigate asks for the camera's configuration options using the GetConfigurationOptions ONVIF call.

According to the ONVIF spec, this is a required implementation:

5.2.3 GetConfigurationOptions
A PTZ-capable device shall implement the GetConfigurationOptions operation. It returns the
ist of supported coordinate systems including their range limitations. Therefore, the options
MAY differ depending on whether the PTZ configuration is assigned to a profile(see ONVIF
Media Service Specification) containing a VideoSourceConfiguration.

You may want to ask your camera manufacturer if they have a firmware upgrade available that would address this issue. There's nothing that can be done from Frigate's side.

I agree that i could well be that these IPCam cameras are not following the rules.
It surprised me however that with the standard Tuya ptz works like a charm.
ODM equally presents the green PTZ control and works 100%.
ODM reports url =http://192.168.2.200:835/onvif/device_service
In frigate.yaml this becomes:

Which differs from the way the rtsp streams are called .
rtsp://192.168.2.200:8554/main
Somehow it seems that the way the address and port are given are crucial.
I will approach the seller if there is another fw but I don't expect anything from that.

I will keep trying on these cameras's and inform you when it works.

Strange, when i change the code for the onvif url in frigate.yaml i get a totally different result in the log. Onvif properties are reported this way but still no ptz controls in birdseye.

as in the last frigate.log.txt above amazes me.
Could you please have a look at that onvif answers?

There is no beta currently. You could install one of the dev builds but these are considered unstable
