An echo application that allows you to track the duration of something. This very simple app is also a demonstration of my Echo SDK, viewable at echo-chamber and support via the echo-chamber-template.
You: Alexa, open stopwatch
Alexa: Stopwatch started
You: Alexa, ask stopwatch for status
Alexa: Your stopwatch has a duration of 30 seconds
You: Alexa, tell stopwatch to stop
Alexa: Your stopwatch had a duration of 45 seconds
You: Alexa, reset my stopwach
Alexa: No stopwatch is set, but I started a new one
You: Alexa, reset my stopwatch
Alexa: Stopwatch restarted. Previous duration was 15 seconds
You: Alexa, pause my stopwatch
Alexa: Stopwatch paused at 5 seconds
You: Alexa, resume my stopwatch
Alexa: Stopwatch resumed.
- Rewrite this as a serverless application (
echo-chambershould still be useful, even if the server support isn't) to reduce operational burden. Store watches in a cloud database.
