system ("cat ~/.octaverc")
I'm investigating path on Oct2Py (Windows)
I've found out that I can execute system ("cat ~/.octaverc") from inside Octave editor, but not with m.eval('system ("cat ~/.octaverc")'). Any idea?
m.eval('system ("cat ~/.octaverc")')

I'm not sure, I tried it on MacOS and it works fine. I've seen plenty of path issues related to Windows use before.
Sorry, something went wrong.
I can't investigate it further too. Maybe Octave editor (i've not tested on octave cli, just the app) have some workaround why it able to do that.
For now, just leave it for it is. I don't know the cause why it can, so I can't mimic it to oct2py.
