Enable Enhanced Grid for a custom grid

Hi,
Is it possible to enable the "Grid Customization" for a custom grid? I have a custom grid (with rows similar to products grid) in a custom URL in admin area.

I managed to enable the button, but it's not working properly on my custom grid. There are lots of rows with "Missing" to "Yes", and the others won't work.

I want to enable the functionality of the enhanced grid on my custom grid.

Are there some standards (extending certain classes, etc.) I should consider in my extension?
