Analytics plugin not responding

Hi,
I am trying to link up the Piwik and analytics plugin. I installed Piwik on my own server and also the plugin in the moodle. Both are on the same server. After installing the plugin I gave the "Site ID" and "Analytics URL" and the remaining options are all default.

Analytics URL: example.com/piwik (Original ->https: example.com/piwik)
The site ID is same as the ID on Piwik dashboard.

On the Piwik dashboard I gave the URL as https://moodleexample.com this is my moodle site
The plugin isn't responding at all. I tried to check some activity using "Dev tools" in chrome and firefox but there is no sign of any Piwik code.

Is there anything that I am missing?
But if I use the tracking code and manually put it in the header of Moodle site then the tracking is working fine.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
