From debate with @bwdmonkey , some ideas:

work better together: effective diffs, understandable changes
parse information better: plain-text format line-broken on concept
simple formatting and normalization of markdown (via default remark stringify)
unchanged rendering

could also do another read of Semantic Line Breaks (though we dont adhere to it) for ideas
