Apprise Bootstrap

Stylish alerts for a Bootstrapped web.

Using Apprise Bootstrap

Apprise requires jQuery, so make sure you've got that handy. Then add apprise.min.js and apprise-bootstrap.min.css to your site:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/apprise-bootstrap.min.css">
<script src="js/apprise.min.js"></script>

Now go wild! You can use apprise() anywhere you would use an alert():

<a href="http://google.com" onclick="apprise('You are now leaving our site');">Leave the site</a>

... or maybe something like this:

<script>
$('a').click(function(e) {
    e.preventDefault();

    apprise('Are you sure you want to leave me?', {verify: true}, function(r) {
        if (r) {
            document.location = $(this).attr('href');
        } else {
            apprise('Phew! That was close!');
        }
    });
});
</script>

 */

// CSS Reset
@import "reset.less";

// Core variables and mixins
@import "variables.less"; // Modify this for custom colors, font-sizes, etc
@import "mixins.less";

...

// Apprise Bootstrap
@import "path/to/apprise-bootstrap.less";
