the program warns if the date values on the tape are '00000' (essentially, you created the tape without setting the system date first).

Files are still copied, but the warnings are a bit irritating.

Need to be able to shut these off, and then it'll be ok. It really is NOT a good thing to have a bunch of '0 date' files. The result is that they're assigned the current host system date/time when you copy them into a directory from the tape file.
