It seems that any string I enter as key and smaller than 5 chars, lowercase, 
gets accepted. But no features are enabled afterwards.

I don't want to bother cracking this app from its source, because building 
it... I never succeeded building it.

Are there free pro keys or I must find a way to crack from source? :)

It connects to their server to check the key you entered, but after Google 
acquired it, the activation page is deleted.
So you must modify its source to get Pro version.
Creating issues will not help, because it's no longer updated.

They I have no other opinion except to learn the source and implement any 
feature I want to :P
