Pepe, you´re not the only one who is waiting for a solution of this bug.
Thanks in advance to Brian (developer of KeePassDroid) for putting big effort in solving this problem.

This works correctly now if you open the file from Google Drive instead of KeePassDroid.

Try out the new beta version 2.0.6.4. The settings menu has a new option to use the Storage Access Framework. Many existing file pickers don't work with that option enabled, but Google Drive works much better with it.

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.android.keepass to opt in to beta.

The beta seems to work quite well. It remembered the the file even after a restart of my phone.
I don´t use Gogle drive, I opened the file from the Android data manager of my Samsung S7.
Thank you!

I can confirm that storing entries started working again with play store version 2.0.6.4 and "Storage Access Framework" activated.
