Java Core Katas

This is a summary of exercises I thought-of/found for core concepts like streams etc.

For each subject, the questions can be found in this README file and there should be classes with the (question as a comment and the) solutions.

Java Streams

  1. Find the sum of all elements in a List using streams.
  2. Given a List of integers, write a program to find the maximum element using streams.
  3. Given a List of strings, write a program to count the number of strings that start with a specific character using streams.
  4. Convert a List of strings to uppercase using streams.
  5. Given a List of integers, write a program to filter out the even numbers using streams / Count the number of elements in a list that satisfy a specific condition using streams.
  6. Write a program to find the average of a List of floating-point numbers using streams.
  7. Given a List of strings, write a program to concatenate all the strings using streams.
  8. Write a program to remove duplicate elements from a List using streams.
  9. Given a List of objects, write a program to sort the objects based on a specific attribute using streams.
