Hey @srinivasKandukuri, sorry for the delay in my response.
The filter option isn't, in my opinion, a very effective solution to actually finding things in the DB. I feel like it needs to be reworked. I feel like it's usage and limitations would cause more issues than solutions, so I haven't worried about putting it in the help yet.

It's on my list of things to work on when/if I can find the time.
