[CLOSED] Cannot select context menu item with down/up arrow after bring it up with context menu button. #1106
Comments
The main menus work this way too. I think this requires the 'focus management' story in order to be implemented properly, so tagging 'to backlog.' Note: it doesn't work on Mac either, but on Mac menus aren't expected to respond to the keyboard -- hence the 'Win only' tag. |
Raymond pointed out that this is especially nasty with context menus when using the context menu keyboard shortcut on Win -- you can't use the menu without a mouse, so the value of using a shortcut is much reduced. (Although I'd argue that not having mnemonics also greatly reduces the value of the menu shortcut key). |
Reviewed - move to backlog |
Story #542 is about native main menus (excluding context menus), so it wouldn't fully address this issue. I added this to the focus management story, though (#404) |
