The plugin docs cover a small a bit about styling in android, and the demo app shows these styles in action. However, the materialdoc site has more thorough documentation - as styling the TextInputLayout is not something that this plugin does but something you must do the Android way with styles in XML files.

I don't really understand how this would be implemented? There's no way for me to programmatically set the theme of the component, so how would I be able to do this ? I have already set the hint color, but would like to style the line and the label.
