Cannot Successfully Select BB Template to be Used as a Header

The instructions on the wordpress plugin page instruct me to:
Design a Page or a Template you wish to use as a Header / Footer
Open the Page Builder settings page
Open the BB Header Footer settings
Select the page or template that you saved to be used as a header.

And the video instructions depict:

However, I encounter the following:

And when I select that template I've created and named "Header", nothing happens. I suspect that is because of this note:

Note: I am using Beaver Builder Child Theme. I am not using Themer. My other plugin is UABB (paid, not lite)

What do you mean? Beyond what is written above? "I am using Beaver Builder Child Theme."
I am building from scratch, no theme other than that. Does that answer your question?

I tried this and could not reproduce on my environment.
