I heard BRAVE browser would pay BAT to sites I visit.
This BAT only comes from being funded -- some by BRAVE donations, or by me adding to wallet.
Why not just have BRAVE mine BAT (or Monero or something else that makes sense).
Websites can publish the wallet addresses they accept and BRAVE auto pays from my wallet (or do pool mining + the BRAVE pool auto pays).

I also find this idea very appealing, given a "nice" (or configurable) process priority management, in order to keep resources under control.
I love Brave's idea of rewarding websites being visited, but my hypothesis is that mass adoption would benefit from this payment mechanism to involve users as little as possible. Deciding what sites get paid and how much to pay them seem to me like too high friction.
Have you tested or considered testing this somehow?
