  • The SYNOPSIS is helpful, but ideally we want to print a usage string and exit for invalid options
  • Previously unknown options (e.g. -a) would print a warning and be ignored (inconsistent with standard tac)
  • The END block can't be removed yet because there are still callers of confess() that were not updated
  • Bump version
