Feature Request: Add command line hooks to control the urllist #3
Comments
I want this too. The latest stuff for the -P switch was a step closer to that. How urgently do you need this? |
Not urgently. But it sure would make the cpan utility at lot easier to use with Pinto repositories, or any other kind of DarkPAN. |

Would you rather have this or a completely separate "profile" that you brian d foy brian.d.foy@gmail.com |
In the long run, it would be desirable to have both. But I would want the command-line hooks first. |
App::Cpan 1.61_02 has the -M switch for this. It's on its way to CPAN now. |
Works like a charm! Do you think having a repeatable option would be more natural than having a comma-separated list? I'm working on getting cpanm to have a -M switch with the similar meaning: miyagawa/cpanminus#175 |

Probably, but then I'd have to redo all the option handling code. brian d foy brian.d.foy@gmail.com |
Any thoughts on making a non-dev release of this? Would love to see this in perl-5.20. |
It gets into perl through the CPAN.pm distribution. We haven't merged the distros yet though. |
cpan will now only be released through CPAN.pm and development of it will |
Ok. So I opened this ticket: andk/cpanpm#58 |
I really wish I could control the urllist from the command-line, similar to the
--mirror
and--mirror-only
options that cpanm has.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
