Personal utility library for Python 3
(note: other projects may use older housepy for 2.7, deprecated, may or may not be equiv)
Jinja2 requires >= 3.3; other dependencies should work in 3.2
from housepy import log, config
brew install python3
pip3 install .
brew install fontconfig
brew install cairo
brew install rtmidi
brew install portaudio
to check installed modules:
pip3.5 freeze
to get mongo as a daemon on startup:
cp /usr/local/Cellar/mongodb/3.2.4/homebrew.mxcl.mongodb.plist ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
launchctl load -w ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.mongodb.plist
To install pip for python3 on Ubuntu, install easy_install3 first:
sudo apt-get install easy_install3
sudo easy_install3 pip
numpy, scipy, matplotlib, and cairo must be installed through apt-get:
sudo apt-get install python3-numpy
sudo apt-get install python3-scipy
sudo apt-get install python3-matplotlib
sudo apt-get install python3-cairocffi
