First time installing a ruby site, how do I go about that?

Are you on OS X or Linux? Once ruby is working, it's really easy. You navigate to the directory of your app, run a "bundle install" followed by a "bundle exec rails server"

@brighton36 is there an admin panel? If so what is the address and login?

@gh0stshell - There's not too much on the admin site. Most everything admin related, I did from the "ruby console". For sample commands, you can look at the db/seeds.rb file.

If it is accessible via the web I would like to login and change the password so no one can get in. Does it take a fee like ebay on sold items? Can I charge a small fee to be a seller?

It is not accessible via the web, and there are no fees , but it would be fairly easy to add that feature in :)
