Load Failed: Unknown solution type item - Visual Studio for Mac #54

I was hoping to try out this solution, however when I open it.

Lots of the project items are unavailable...

I'm using Visual Studio for Mac v8.9.5 build 4 (which I think is the latest)

Can you provide steps to reproduce the error?

I can't reproduce it on my machine.

I just opened the solution.

Are you using visual studio for Mac?

Given os is macos
and processor architecture is ARM
and godot version is 4.0.2+
When a new project is created via godot
and a script from that project is open with Visual Studio for mac
Then the solution fails to load
and error message is "Login failed: Unknown solution item type"

I faced the same problem after a git pull. I had to manually merge files and noticed inside the solution file the following patterns:
<<<<<<< HEAD

201f89307eb1001xxxx
I removed these from the sun file and now have to merge the code containing files too.

This helped me to get my solution loaded again.
