We definitely need more recapitulatory documentation about the why/what for newcomers :)

PR would be sweet!

Was thinking something along the lines of:

sometimes there's performance critical code that needs improvements
sometimes there's mission critical code that could use some formal validation before pushing to prod
math in JS isn't accurate, being able to pull in proper infinite floating point math libs would be amazing
replace native (C++) modules in Node entirely — write Rust, and use it in both Node & the browser. Provide a C wrapper, and you're able to use it in every other language too!

Uehhh, those are probably the features / benefits. Just needs some story I guess, haha
