LibreOffice and many code editors have a feature where word completions will be suggested based on previous words you have typed. For example, if I have already typed shoemaker, when I type sho, shoemaker should be a suggested ending for my word. I should then be able to hit enter to auto-complete the word.
With a feature like that, people's writing speed could increase drastically.
