Hi, did you install the plugin from Unreal Marketplace ? It seems like it missing the compiled version of the plugin which normally is given by the marketplace itself. If you are installing the plugin from github, you must compile the plugin yourself. In reality, I have not tried on linux, maybe I forgot something on my side. |
Yes, I downloaded it from the market. The engine did not offer to recompile it, it just does not start with it) |
Hello, I haven’t tried it, or rather I couldn’t find a plugin where there could also be a Linux module) |
Ok, I recompiled the plugin in several ways but to no avail. It turned out that in the plugin file you need to delete the line "EngineVersion": "5.3.0". Otherwise, if the line with the plugin version matches the engine version, then it will not start, and if you add the patch number (5.3.2), the engine will start but the plugin will not turn on Anyway, thanks for the great plugin. |
Weird, at least on Windows even though "EngineVersion": "5.3.0". is present it asks if you want to rebuild for the version of the engine you are using. Worked for 5.4 Preview 1. |
I installed the plugin in my project folder and now ue5 won't launch. I installed it in the engine folder and it also doesn’t start. Is the plugin compatible with 5.3.2? I have Linux manjaro, the website states that there is support for Linux
