It's unclear how to exit the configuration editor and apply changes.

Similarly, it is unclear whether or not Crystal must be restarted when the 
configuration is edited using the GUI

This issue was resolved in the September 12th release.  (And is also resolved 
in the latest, October 9th release.)  

Please download the new Crystal.
(This is likely my fault, the big "Download Crystal" button was pointing to an 
old version.
