About adding the token, users need to add the tokens themselves using the ID. There is no way for us to verify or endorse tokens right now.

I'm not following, why would you need to tie your store customers to using BTDEX. Your storefront would normally contain the payment solution and people would pay with whatever wallet they wanted.
