Poppins failing to edit existing messages in-place

It seems that for every payload delivered poppins is posting two messages on the pull request thread, two separate messages, and a second payload delivered two more. I can stand the doubble post but that it does not update its previous comment and maintain a single comment of authority is really a deal breaker for me.
