Scores should reflect the difficulty of the configuration. For example if you're on right hand, natural single notes only, you might get +/- 5 points per flashcard. Maybe switching to both hands will give you more points per flashcard, and adding accidentals, and increasing your leger lines. And perhaps interval and triad flashcards could have a higher point value.
With these changes in place, two players can compare their scores more absolutely and players are motivated to move to more advanced options to get higher scores.
